>> An arraignment may come as early as Thursday for Scott Michael Green as authorities search for a motive in his ambush style murders of two Iowa police officers a day earlier. Forty-six year old Green was well-known to local police having had a string of run-ins with the law, including this, shot by Green himself and posted to YouTube, showing cops kicking him out of a high school football game after he waved a Confederate flag and exhibited racist behavior.
>> Have I committed a crime?>> You're on private property, you're on school property.>> But none of his actions approached the magnitude of Wednesday's cold-blooded murders of Des Moines officer Anthony Beminio and Urbandale rookie Justin Martin. Green was picked up hours after the killings after flagging down a state worker and asking him to call 911.
Green was later taken to a local hospital. Vigils were held Wednesday for both of the slain officers.
