>> The next President of the United States, Hillary Clinton.>> More trouble for Hillary Clinton just days before the election. The Clinton Foundation confirming Friday that it did accept a million dollar gift from Qatar while Clinton was Secretary of State. The donation was first revealed in thousands of emails hacked by Wikileaks from Clinton Campaign Chairman, John Podesta's account, and published last month.
At the time, The Clinton Foundation refused to confirm the gift, the donation was accepted without informing the State Department in violation of an ethics agreement signed by Clinton in 2009, in which she had promised to let the agency review new or significantly increased support from foreign governments. Recently the foundation said that it will stop accepting money from foreign governments if Clinton is elected president.
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has said that major donors to the Clinton Foundation may have obtained favored access to Clinton's state department but has provided a little evidence to that effect. Clinton and her staff have dismissed this accusation as a political smear.
