>> Authorities in Southern California saying the gunman who carried out a fatal shooting at a polling station has been found dead at the scene after a manhunt that lasted several hours. The man killed one person and wounded at least three others Tuesday afternoon during voting in the Los Angeles suburb of Azusa.
Authorities urged voters to avoid the polling station, where the shooting happened, and another at a school nearby, which Reuters photographer Mario Anzuoni visited Tuesday evening.>> Right now, I am in front of Delton Elementary School, which is a polling place that has just been reopened to voters after being protectively placed on lockdown.
>> Officials say the shooter was armed with a rifle and fired at police as they arrived at the scene. A spokesperson for the LA County Sheriff says it doesn't appear the incident was related to the election.
