>> Patriotic Russian hackers may have staged cyber attacks in countries that have strained relations with Moscow. Russian president Vladimir Putin said on Thursday. But the Kremlin wasn't involved. Putin made the comments answering a question about whether Moscow could try to interfere in this year's German election.
He said he was personally convinced hackers can't materially alter election campaigns in Europe or the United States anyway.
