>> Intelligence contractor Reality Lee Winner pleaded not guilty on Thursday to charges that she leaked a classified national security agency report to the media. She appeared in the federal court in Georgia where she was ordered to be held without bond. The NSA document leaked to the Intercept news site provided technical details on what it said were Russian attempts to hack US election officials on a voting machine firm.
Winner is the first person charged with leaking classified information to the media under President Donald Trump's administration. She was charged with a single count of willful retention and transmission of national defense information. She faces up to ten years in prison if convicted.
