>> It's here at JFK Airport that North Korea says members of it's diplomatic mission were literally mugged by US authorities on Sunday. According to Pyongyang the delegates were returning from a conference when officials from the Department of Homeland Security approached them and took away a diplomatic package which according to North Korea has a valid diplomatic carrier certificate.
State media calls it an illegal and heinous provocation, proving that the US is a felonious, and lawless gangster state. And Pyongyang is urging nations to rethink New York as a venue for international meetings. So far there is no comment from Washington. The claim comes at a tense time between the US and North Korea after the release of Otto Warmbier.
The American student who was returned home in a coma after 17 months as a prisoner in the North. Waves of Western sanctions are also fueling tensions between Washington and Pyongyang, as the Kim Jong-un regime continues to relentlessly test artillery, missiles, and nuclear weapons.
