First time Tony's host Kevin Spacey kicked off the show with his own self-aware songs referencing both the award nominees and his self-doubt compared to previous hosts Neil Patrick Harris and Hugh Jackman. Broadway's had a record-breaking season this year, partly thanks to last years Tony winner and and pop culture phenomenon Hamilton.
