>> Dozens of people are hurt and many feared dead after an early morning accident in Germany. A tour bus burst into flames after colliding with a truck on a Bavarian motorway. Emergency services dashed to the scene near the Czech border shortly after 7 AM local time on Monday.
Fire crews were seen hosing down the smoking remains of the vehicles and rescue helicopters lined up along the road. A local newspaper, Frankenpost, reported 17 people had died without identifying its source for the information. Police said on Twitter 31 were injured. They confirmed there were 48 people on board at the time of the crash.
The bus is believed to have been carrying a tour group from the Eastern German state of Saxony.
