McConnell making the announcement after McCain said he would remain in Arizona this week, after having surgery Friday to remove a two inch blood clot from above his left eye.

All Senate Democrats and two Independent Senators opposed the bill. McCain's office of the Senator was in good condition and resting comfortably at home, following his surgery at the Mayo Clinic Hospital in Phoenix. It is unclear how long the Senate vote will be delayed.
