>> The first set of charges set to be made less than six months after special counsel Robert Mueller started his investigation into alleged Russian meddling in the 2016 Presidential Election, a source briefed on the matter telling Reuters. A federal grand jury approving the charges on Friday, which could be unsealed as early as Monday.
It is not immediately clear what the charges are, or who is being charged, since the indictment was sealed by a federal judge. But some media reporting the accused could be taken into custody as soon as Monday. Mueller has broad authority to investigate whether Trump campaign officials colluded with the Russians who US intelligence agencies conclude did try to sway the election by hacking and releasing embarrassing emails from the Clinton campaign and by using social media to distribute propaganda against Hillary Clinton.
The former FBI Director also looking into whether Trump or any of his aides tried to obstruct justice. The allegations and the investigations casting a shadow over Trump's presidency. He's repeatedly refuted claims of collusion.>> There has been absolutely no collusion.>> And derided the numerous probes as quote, a witch hunt.
