It was a two passenger plane but I can confirm there was only one body involved. Halladay's single engine plane crashed in the Gulf of Mexico, near Tampa.
Halladay purchased the Icon A5, a small, light, sport aircraft about a month ago, according to his social media page. A two time Cy Young award winner, Halladay spent 16 seasons in the majors with the Toronto Blue Jays and Philadelphia Phillies. And was a future Hall of Famer. Former teammate and fellow pitcher Roy Oswalt tweeted, one of the best teammates ever.
You will be missed.
