>> A motorbike bomb killed two people and injured a Ukrainian lawmaker in Kiev on Wednesday night. A fourth person also injured in the blast, Ihor Mosiychuk, of the opposition radical party, was taken to the hospital. But his injuries are not life threatening. He blamed Russia for the attack in a Facebook posting.
Police have not yet commented on the possible motive. The explosives went off outside a TV station as Mosiychuk was leaving, the Interior Ministry said. Since fighting with pro-Russian separatist broke out three years ago, attacks involving explosives have occurred outside the conflict zone in Eastern Ukraine. But vehicle bombings are quite rare.
In June, a Kiev car bomb killed a colonel in Ukraine's military intelligence. Last year, a prominent investigative journalist was killed by an explosive device in his car.
