>> After a rocky year, Uber is on a mission to improve its image battered by a slew of scandals including drivers alleging unfair treatment. To improve that relationship, new CEO Dara Khosrowshahi will be kicking off a nationwide campaign on Friday to help enroll thousands of drivers for Obamacare.

They see the need is a lot bigger both in terms of the administration is not putting out marketing of its own and secondly, Uber is trying to reach out to drivers more in general to take care of them.
Uber has promised 180 days of change and that is change for drivers to help them.>> Uber is educating its drivers on healthcare options with the Trump administration shortening the enrollment period for Obamacare making it harder for people to sign up. Uber will be hosting various events across 28 cities in the United States States to offer drivers assistance when signing up for insurance plans, making sure they have all the information they need.
This initiative comes after a tumultuous year that began after former CEO Travis Kalanick drew criticism from users for joining President Donald Trump's Business Advisory Council. Under pressure, Kalanick left the council in February and he resigned as CEO in June following an unrelenting wave of controversies, including allegations of gender bias at Uber and a lawsuit brought by Google's Waymo throwing its self-driving car program into jeopardy.
