This was not one of the songs that we planned on releasing in advance, but then the vote happened and 800 people were injured by the police trying to vote, so I said we should try and just put the song out to show our support against police brutality. We’ve already got a recorded, let’s do a quick music video.

Suddenly it was spreading all over the place. And we started seeing posts on Reddit, and Twitter was really big. And then I noticed that someone shared us on Twitter and it wound up actually being a Catalan politician, and she shared the song. And I think when she shared the song, it really started to go.

>> The biggest emotional response we've gotten is it brought me to tears. Which is not normal for a heavy metal song, so for us that was like a big deal. All these people saying the song brought them to tears, that's huge.

It's very humbling for a band like us, we're not on a label, we do everything ourselves. So when we see these many people responding it's overwhelming.
