>> Comedian Louis C.K. on Friday said the claims by five women that he was sexually inappropriate are true. In a statement C.K. said quote, the power I had over these women is that they admired me, and I wielded that power inappropriately. On Thursday, The New York Times published allegations that C.K. had, among other things masturbated in front of several women.
The comedian is the creator and star of the FX comedy Louie and among America's most popular stand up comedians. He has repeatedly sold out live venues such as Madison Square Garden. Since the report a film company scrapped plans to release his upcoming movie. The channel HBO took down his earlier work from their on demand service.
21st Century Fox, parent company of the channel FX, said it was disturbed by the allegations and conducting a review.
