>> The Houston Astros are about one game away from a World Series title after defeating the LA Dodgers in a marathon game five on Sunday night. The match up clocked in at five hours and 17 minutes marked by home run after home run and leads gained and blown.
No less than seven balls were knocked out of the park, five of them by five different Astros, a new World Series record. The teams together have hit 22 home runs so far this series, another baseball first. But the Astros clinched the victory with a humble walk-off single by Alex Bregman in the tenth inning to take the game 13 to 12 at Minute Maid Park.
Houston now leads the best of 7 series, 3 to 2, as both teams head back to Los Angeles to finish out the contest. Game 6 is on Tuesday night.
