>> Junk food lovers rejoice. A three day Cheetos' themed pop-up restaurant in New York is serving up dangerously decadent dishes. Called the Spotted Cheetah, the menu features Cheetos in 11 dishes, from meatballs to cheesecake. And it wasn't easy to dream them up.>> I would say when I was first tapped to do this, to write a whole menu, including dessert, around Cheetos, I was like that's gonna be pretty challenging.
But I had no idea all of the flavors of Cheetos that are available, so then when the first of many, many, many boxes of Cheetos started arriving at my restaurant, I was like like, wow! And then my brain started percolating with ideas, and then, after that, it was pretty easy.
>> Some of the inspiration came from the Cheetos faithful fans, who use cheese puff in new recipes and talked about them on social media. The Tribeca-based pop up won't be around for long. And most of the reservations are already booked through closing day on August 17th. But the cheesy cuisine recipes can be found online.
