>> Burning tires and launching fire bomb kites that are setting Israeli fields on fire. Protesters in Gaza continue to mass on the Israeli border, this being the last Friday of a six-week protest called The Great March of Return. This protester shot and wounded by Israeli troops who say they're defending their border.
It's been a deadly few weeks for Gazans, with over 40 Palestinians killed during these demonstrations, and there are fears they could get more deadly. Anger is building ahead of US plans to officially move their embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem on Monday, in line with President Trump's recognition of the city as Israel's capital.
It's followed by the day the border protests have been building up to. The Nakba, or catastrophe, marking the displacement of hundreds of thousands of Palestinians in the conflict surrounding the creation of Israel in 1948. Organizers say they expect tens of thousands of Gazans to join the border encampments in the coming days.
It's a time of celebration for many Israelis, but for Palestinians, a tragedy that could spark another bloody chapter in this long-running conflict.
