Hugo Boss faced a string of profit warnings as sales fell in recent years. To counter this, Boss reversed efforts to take the brand more up market and expand into women's wear. It refocused on premium men's clothing, which has grown 6% in the first quarter. Online sales also surged 43% in Q1, that's on the back of investment in the Boss website to better integrate e-commerce in stores.
