Under the settlement, announced Wednesday by attorneys on both sides, the university will pay $425 million to the 332 victims currently represented and will set aside another $75 million to protect anyone who comes forward in the future.

But the settlement only covers accusations against Michigan State, where Nassar treated student athletes. Still underway are lawsuits against USA Gymnastics and the US Olympic Committee.
