>> The manhunt for Minnesota grandmother, Lois Riess is over. Police arrested the 56 year old Thursday night at this restaurant in San Padre Island, a resort town off the southern coast of Texas. An eye witness called police after spotting a woman matching Riess' description. She was taken into custody without incident.
>> The suspect is now inside our jail behind me.>> Reese was wanted for murdering her husband in Minnesota and another woman in Florida.>> Suspect Reiss, although she may look like anyone's mother or grandmother, she's an absolute cold blooded murderer.>> Authorities released this surveillance video showing Reiss talking to the woman she's accused of killing.
Police say she shot 59 year old Pamela Hutchinson after meeting her at a bar. Then stole her white Acura, credit cards and identity. Investigators believe the grandmother targeted Hutchinson because they looked alike. The victim's cousin is relieved she's been arrested.>> I'm sorry, I don't mean to get upset, but this is a relief.
This is the closure we need.>> Police say Reiss had a gambling problem and stopped at several casinos before driving to Florida where she met Hutchinson.
