>> An intensive search is underway for the man who killed four people at a Waffle House in Nashville Tenasse early sunday morning, and then fled naked on foot. The suspect 29 year old Travis Reinking, was last seen at an apartment complex in the Antioch neighborhood of Nashville. Police were combing nearby public school grounds overnight to ensure they were safe.
Nashville Police Chief Steve Anderson urged caution.>> We're telling everybody to be very cautious. We don't wanna alarm people but certainly everybody should take precaution.>> Reinking allegedly open fire in the parking lot of the Waffle House in Antioch shortly before 3:30 AM Sunday, killing two people before going inside and killing two more.
The suspect was tackled to the ground by James Shaw, a diner in the restaurant who wrestled the AR-15 assault rifle away, although the suspect fled. Three of the victims were customers and one was a Waffle House employee. Authorities say four weapons belonging to Reinking were seized last July after he was arrested by the secret service for being in a restricted area near the White House.
But given to his father who then returned them to his son. While the AR-15 and another weapon in his apartment were recovered. Police say he may have two more guns with him.
