Now, the President has been trying to spin not only the book, but these documents as well. Tweeting that they were classified and that Comey broke the law by allegedly leaking them. Adding quote, additionally, he totally made up many of the things he said I said, and he is already a proven liar and leaker.

The memos detail, phone calls, conversations, and encounters between the two, and depict Trump demanding loyalty, fretting over the need to uncover leakers, and floating the idea of jailing journalists. He's also said to have been highly focused over disproving the lewd allegations made in the famous Steele dossier. The memos come out just days after the release of Comey's memoir, A Higher Loyalty, which Trump, on Friday, called a quote, third rate book.

The 15 pages of memos include details of Trump complaining about his first National Security Adviser, Michael Flynn, saying he had quote, serious judgement issues. Trump fired Comey in May of 2017 while he was leading the FBI investigations into allegations of Russian meddling in the 2016 Presidential Race. That firing led to the appointment of special counsel Robert Mueller, to continue the probe.
