>> After an intense manhunt, Nashville police have arrested the suspect in the Waffle House shooting who allegedly killed four people. Authorities releasing these photos of 29-year-old Travis Reinking who was found armed with the handgun hiding in a wooded area near the restaurant and his apartment.>> He did not try to run.
As soon as the detective saw him, he pulled out his weapon and told him to get on the ground and immediately from what I understand he got on the ground.>> Reinking is accused of opening fire with an AR-15 rifle at the Nashville Waffle House early Sunday. Police records show he had a history of mental illness.
Two years ago he threatened to kill himself in a drug store parking lot claiming the singer Taylor Swift was hacking into his phone. And last year Reinking was arrested trying to get into the White House.>> After the incident at the White House, every Federal resource was brought to bear and that we were able to effectively neutralize what we felt was the threat at the time by insuring that he did not have the ability to purchase or own weapons.
And that those weapons were taken.>> Authorities revoked Reinking's gun license and gave his weapons to Reinking's father who the ATF says could face charges for returning the guns to his son. Authorities said there likely would have been more casualties at the Waffle House had bystander James Sean Jr. not intervened wrestling the rifle away.
>> You have to either react or you have to, or you're gonna fold.>> Reinking fled the restaurant after the attack naked except for a green jacket.
