>> Another jam packed dingy floating off the coast of Lampedusa. These migrants are some of the 527 plucked from the Mediterranean in just one day last week. The footage released by Spanish police participating in Frontex's operation Triton. But the imagery is now common place. The impact's starting to wane, prompting the charity Sea-Watch to take more drastic action.
It's released a graphic photo of a drowned migrant baby in the arms of a German rescuer.>> It's always a difficult decision to publish such a picture but in this specific case, we decided to send the picture out because of the graveness of the situation.>> The baby, who appears to be no more than a year old, was pulled by the sea on May the 27th after the wooden boat he was in capsized.
The charity says it's all the outcome of European foreign policy.>> It's still the same tragedy if people die in the Mediterranean Sea. And so this picture should have the same effect than maybe the picture of Ireland had. And I hope that we can at least touch some people with this, because we have to know as Europeans, we are responsible for this situation.
