COMING UP:Share Opener Variant 1

Casey Affleck, the actor, dogged by allegations of sexual abuse will not be presenting the award for Best Actress at the 2018 Oscars. The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences on Thursday confirmed Affleck withdrew from the show. A rep for the actor said he would not attend the Oscar ceremonies.
Affleck won Best Actor last year for his performance in Manchester By the Sea. Traditionally, the Best Actor and Actress of one year present the award to their opposite sex winners the next year. Affleck's withdrawal comes after accusations re-emerged over his conduct on the 2010 set of a movie he directed.
The allegations were made in a lawsuit, which was later settled. The actor has said that both sides in the lawsuit are prohibited from commenting on the matter. The producers of the 2018 Academy Awards have not disclosed who will present the Best Actress statue in Affleck's place.
