>> Netflix's hit show House of Cards is back in production for it's sixth and final season, but without it's lead character Kevin Spacey. After a three month production halt, it was announced Wednesday that the series is bringing in new characters played by Diane Lane and Greg Kinnear to join remaining star Robin Wright.
Spacey was pushed off the show following sexual misconduct allegations with more than 30 men accusing Spacey of harassment. Reuters was unable to independently confirm the accusations. A Reuters' report says the scandal cost Netflix about $39 million as it stopped projects associated with the actor. House of Cards premiered in 2013 and was the first big original streaming series, and brought Netflix not only critical acclaim, but credibility in Hollywood.
The series has been nominated for 53 prime time Emmy awards, including five nominations for Spacey's work.
