That's according to Washington Post on Thursday. Which cited sources that say McMaster won't be let go immediately to buy time to find a good successor and save him from any humiliation.

According to the post sources, the President never clicked with McMaster. They say Trump complained the three star general was too rigid and took to long in his briefings. It's another shock to the President's top ranks this week. After Trump got rid of his Secretary of State, Rex Tillerson on Tuesday, there have been signs a broader shakeup isn't over.
