>> BitCoin getting clobbered on Wednesday after Google announced it was banning all ads having anything to do with Cryptocurrencies. The move, part of a larger crackdown. Earlier this year, Facebook announced a similar ban meaning the digital currency sector will be losing access to the Web's biggest ad networks.
Reuters' reporter Paresh Dave is on the story.>> Google has said for weeks that they've been taking down cryptocurrency ads that are misleading and potentially deceptive. But I think they're going a step further because there's a lot of regulatory uncertainty throughout the world. There's lawmakers questioning the validity of these types of new forms of currency.
The companies have seen enough out there to go ahead and ban all sorts of cryptocurrency ads.>> BitCoin fell 10% after Google's ban on Wednesday. It's been struggling to recover from a peak price of almost $20,000 in December. The price for a BitCoin now around $8,000.
