>> A heavy police presence outside the White House on Friday after a vehicle struck the security barrier near the White House. It did not reach the complex. Secrets service agents immediately apprehended the female driver of the vehicle. No law enforcement person were hurt and no shots were fired during the incident.
The White House was put on lockdown. President Trump and the Australian Prime Minister were inside as the incident unfolded. They had just wrapped up a joint news conference. Video showed a minivan with both it's rear window and a side window smashed.
